Glentromie Lodge is run by owner Emma Craigie Halkett who works with local sources to provide a fantastic experience.
The house sleeps 16 in 4 double rooms, 3 twin rooms and 2 single rooms. There are 4 bathrooms with original deep roll top baths and a further WC downstairs.
The house boasts a large kitchen with open fire and a separate dining room. Well behaved children are invited to use our snug where our own children’s toys are available as well as a range of DVDs, books and games.
Featuring a large drawing room for evenings around an open fire, or a smaller Morning room for enjoying a quiet read, or watching some TV. The house has SKY and wifi. There are a number of DVDs in the morning room and both rooms have open fires.
The traditional wood panelled verandah room at the side of the house opens out onto the BBQ and picnic area with stunning views across the grounds.
The kitchen is well equipped for 16 guests with a double electric range cooker, large dishwasher, coffee machine, fridge freezer, food mixer, microwave and toaster. The lodge has a large laundry room with washing machine and plenty of hanging space for wet coats, boots etc plus a second large fridge freezer.
Outside there is ample parking for cars and mini buses and landing for helicopters can be by arrangement in the field below the house.
All bedding and towels are provided for your stay. Please bring your own beach/outdoor towels and cot bedding.
We also provide small starter packs of tea/coffee and sugar and can arrange arrival hampers by request at additional cost.
Your let includes full log baskets on arrival or a BBQ pack in summer.
